One of my favorite flavors of ice cream is Neopolitan. So I was inspired to try to make my favorite ice cream into a cupcake. So into the lab we go. ( My sister calls my kitchen the lab and now I am starting to do it.) I made chocolate, strawberry and vanilla cupcake batter and I layered each flavor inside of each cupcake.
You can barely see the strawberry so I know for next time to put in more strawberry than chocolate. It still amazes me that the batters actually bakes in layers. My sister and I did a version of this with rainbow colors which turned out great. ( Unfortunately, I didn't have photos).
I am righted handed so it took a little skill to hold the fork in my left hand and the camera in the right.
